Dengate bounces back from LinkedIn redundancy with new Comms Director role

Cayla Dengate, who was a senior editor at LinkedIn for over seven years before being made redundant last month, has talked about the beauty of timing as she takes on a new role as Communications Director at Emergence Quantum.
Dengate reveals on LinkedIn how the new gig came about.
"Ever had an opportunity lock into place at the perfect moment? Feels like fate," she said.
Emergence Quantum is a new company solving the challenges that spring from quantum computing, energy-efficient computing infrastructure, advanced sensing interfaces and more.
"How did I get here? David [Reilly, a co-founder of EQ] and I did a few Facebook Live shows together for The Huffington Post in 2016 and I got to suit up and check out the University of Sydney’s nanoscience laboratories...
