Lizzies Winners: Edmond Tran, Best Gaming Journalist

Tran was recognised as Best Gaming Journalist at the the 23rd Annual Samsung Australian IT Journalism Award.
All of Tran’s entries were published via his Skill Up Patreon page, and including “Do game developers still want to publish on Xbox?”, “Fight for The Future - The Sisyphean Task of Preserving Videogames” and “Unpacking A Bigger Problem.”
Speaking to Influencing, Tran said, “There's not a ton of room or resources for journos to pursue issues-based reporting about video games, but it's a serious industry, and it needs serious journalism. That's a big part of what drives my approach.
