Sarangaraj has been with News7 for eight years, beginning her career as a special correspondent at Sun TV Network.
In a heartfelt post on LinkedIn, she expressed her pride in becoming the “first woman editor in Tamil Nadu TV News Media”, extending her success to all the women “who've been told they can't, who've been marginalized, and who've been silenced.”
"Coming from a farming family in a small hamlet and entering the journalism industry without any background hasn't been easy—but it's been worth it! From overcoming obstacles to breaking glass ceilings, I've learned to rise above and push forward,” she wrote.
