Stanaway to depart Nine after 25 years

Today presenter Clint Stanaway has announced he will be leaving Channel 9 after nearly 25 years with the network where he started when he was just 18, to concentrate on radio. The 42-year-old sports and news journalist, best known for being the host of Weekend Today and the weekend sports presenter on 9News Melbourne, revealed plans to focus on his full-time role in radio.
Stanaway has been the newsreader for the Melbourne breakfast radio show Jase & Lauren since 2021, when they were on KIIS, and stayed with the team when they moved to Nova in 2024.
