“Australian children are flocking to the National Disability Insurance Scheme, with 16% of all six-year-old boys now relying on it, as the government designs a new pathway to help families leave the rapidly growing $46 billion program."
One in ten children aged five to seven are participants — 13.5% of boys and 6.5% of girls. Even with participant growth, the scheme, which is costing more all the time, actually came in under budget last financial year and appears to show not only how NDIS remains vital for children with developmental delays or autism, but also how much families str...
