Chris O'Keefe leaves 2GB to start political and media consultancy

After 13 years with Nine and two years hosting 2GB's Drive show, O'Keefe said it was a "difficult decision" but the right one for his family.
O'Keefe, 43, explained that he was leaving journalism to start his own political and media consulting business helping clients navigate government and public opinion. He emphasised that his decision, made after months of reflection, was motivated by his desire to spend more time with his family, particularly his son Henry.
